Amy Douglas, the wife of Jared Douglas our Executive Pastor, is the Director of Women’s Events for the CROWN women of FBCRO.
She and a great team of women work to coordinate and create a wide variety of events throughout the year for the purpose of better connection for our women!
These activities range from relaxed fun such as dinner out, seeing a movie together, game time, shopping, and even painting together! Our annual Women’s Christmas dinner has been a huge success and creates a great fun connection opportunity! Other activities are focused on deepening not only our relationship with one another, but our relationship with God as well. These events include but are not limited to Bible studies, retreats, and opportunities to minister to our community and to those in need.
At First Baptist Church, Red Oak, we, as a body of believers, endeavor to accomplish four things:
Elevate God’s Word
Celebrate God’s Presence
Renovate God’s People
Demonstrate God’s Love
Everything that we do under the umbrella of CROWN Women’s Ministry is meant to fulfill one or more of those four things.
FELLOWSHIP
BIBLE STUDY
We usually have two Bible study times that occur, one in the Fall and the other just after the start of the new year on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11am, and Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm. Childcare is available for birth-PreK. On Wednesday nights during the school year, school age children are welcome to attend our awesome ROK kids program for 3 yrs.-5th grade from 6:30-8pm. Our youth 6th-12th meet from 6-8:15pm at the Family Life Center located at 212 N Main St, Red Oak 75154.
Come join us as we connect with other women and grow deeper in God's Word!
We believe that as the Body of Christ, we are called to “do” life together! We believe that God’s Word is full of “one another” commandments that imply that it is God’s design that our greatest potential is fulfilled when we are connected together and growing together!
