It is our desire here at First Baptist Red Oak to make it a priority in all that we do to seek God first in prayer. We are doing this collectively as a church from August 20-September 9 through 21 Days of Prayer. This month of prayer focus is intentional, as we prepare our hearts for what God wants to do in us personally and in our church during the upcoming Thirst Conference from September 10-13. Together, we faithfully seek God first, trusting in His power alone to create lasting impact in our lives, our church and our community.
Church-Wide Prayer Points:
1 Pray that our church will be characterized by fervent love for God, genuine love for others, oneness in spirit, and a bold, holy
testimony in our community.
2 Pray for conviction of sin - materialism, temporal values, pride, indifference, laziness, lack of love, impurity, worldliness- and for a
spirit of humility and repentance.
3 Pray for a renewed commitment to obedience and to the authority of Scripture and the lordship of Christ. Pray for a deep heart
burden for the lost and for a spirit of prayer.
4 Pray that those who profess to know Christ but do not really possess Him will recognize their need and be born again.
5 Ask God to make you an instrument of revival in your home, church and community.
