WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?
We believe that no one pursues Jesus in isolation. Discipleship is done in community. These groups provide safe environments for discipleship and growth as we value God's people over our programs. It is a place to be honest and form meaningful relationships with other believers in Christ who are mutually committed to each other. LIFE-GROUPS meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:30.

Check out FBC Red Oak's massive video library available 24/7! Over 15,000 discipleship videos for kids, youth and adults right at your fingertips. 1. You’ll understand what it means to be loved and supported.
Let’s face it—life has its ups and downs. In those moments, it’s important to have people around who love and support you no matter what. In the up moments, your LIFE Group will celebrate with you. In the down moments, they’ll cry with you. The most important thing is this: they’ll be there like a true family should.
2. You’ll develop meaningful relationships in community.
You need a place where you can be yourself with others—blemishes and all—and develop deep friendships that will last a lifetime. LIFE Groups create an environment where authentic community happens as people drop their masks and be real. There are people who want to walk beside you as you follow Jesus.
3. You’ll be challenged to grow spiritually by focusing on the Bible.
God’s Word is the foundation for the LIFE Group community. Through study of it, you’ll go deeper in understanding the truth of it and applying what you’ve learned to your life and relationships. You’ll be encouraged to take the next step in your spiritual journey, and others will be there to cheer you on.
4. You’ll have opportunities to make a difference by engaging the world.
We all want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, to know our lives count for something, to make a difference in the world. In a LIFE Group, serving shoulder to shoulder together, you can meet the needs of others by giving your lives away. You’ll see what it looks like to truly be the church.
